The Causes of Bad Breath Are Many

Have you ever been put off by someone’s bad breath? Bad breath is very common and most of us  know someone who has terrible smelling breath.You might think its funny but it the causes of bad breath may surprise you and none of them are a laughing matter.

1, Poor oral hygiene. Some people often neglect their teeth and mouth and fail to follow the simple rules of brushing and flossing at least twice a day.Failure to do these simple things can wreak havoc with your health in the future. Food particles that remain in your mouth can lead to decay and causes bad breath. Be responsible and take care of your mouth ,teeth and gums.

2. Diet. Foods consumed can cause bad breath. Most know about onions and garlic as culprits, but did you know that eating a large amount of protein and          very little carbohydrates can cause foul smelling breath? Eating foods like parsley, lettuce and other green may be beneficial to reducing bad breath.

3.Gum disease.Gum disease is a very serious condition which can lead to chronic infection and even the loss of teeth. This is a major contributor to causes of bad breath.

4. Medical Conditions. Some medical conditions like diabetes can cause bad breath. Medical doctors are the specialists who need to be involved in these issues.

By now you are aware that there are many causes of bad breath from poor oral hygiene, diet and even medical conditions. Develop good habits and you will be well on your way to eliminating causes of bad breath. Get help and see your dentist at least every six months and follow the advice given to you.
